If your days are running together and every day feels like it “could be” the weekend or a half-day, or ultra-casual day due to working from home during the pandemic,
I want to share with you my Monday morning sales meditation to help you create a “set point” for your week—starting out with a fantastic mindset.
Yes, I’m getting a little, “woo-woo” with you but you’re a captive audience—where are you going to go?
Kidding.
The benefits of meditation are physical and scientific—from lowering blood pressure, to help achieve your goals, to improving discipline—so, if you’ve not tried it, never thought to try it, or do it every day, I offer you up a little something different today.
I’ve changed it up just a smidge during quarantine but I’ve been using this to start my weeks off for many years. I sit in meditation with these thoughts that help me set my intention and listen—listen to my gut, listen to my heart, and listen, truly listen, to my clients and buyers.
This isn’t about creating your to-do list. This is about listening to what your soul/self/spirit/mind—whatever—is telling you about that person, framed in light of who you might encounter in the next week.
So, find a quiet and comfortable spot. Set aside 10 to 15 minutes. Put your phone on silent and put it away from you. Relax, open up your mind, B-R-E-A-T-H-E, and listen to what comes to you.
6. Say aloud with a deep breath between each statement:
What do you think? How do you feel? Could you do this every Monday? Hey, there’s nothing stopping you from doing it every day!
